To help make Northampton a dementia-friendly community, Kathy Service, a nurse practitioner, facilitates monthly information sessions for anyone interested in becoming a “Dementia Friend.”

The sessions provide a basic overview of dementia and suggest practical actions to communicate with and support adults living with dementia. Because behaviors are means of communication, common behaviors are also reviewed.

Please spread the word. These meetings are listed in the NN calendar so you can plan ahead. We welcome all who are interested and might benefit to join these informative training sessions.
