MEETING TIME AND PLACE: 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2023, at the parking lot for the Florence Civic Center, 90 Park Street, Florence 01062 (this address, 90 Park Street, can be used for a GPS address). The parking lot is next to the Lilly Library. From there, we will walk to the entrance to the bike path on North Maple Street
DIRECTIONS: The Florence Civic Center is located at 9o Park Street, Florence 01062. Driving west from Northampton, take Main Street past the second traffic light in Florence (just before the traffic light, the Miss Florence Diner is on your right). As soon as you go through the traffic light, you will see the Florence Civic Center ahead. Go past the first left, which is Park Street, and make the next left onto Cosmian Avenue (the distance is barely one hundred feet) and then an immediate left turn into the Civic Center parking lot. A good landmark is the Lilly Library which is next door.
DESCRIPTION OF WALK: Once on the bike path, we can either walk east towards Northampton, or west towards Look Park.
RESTROOMS: The Lilly Library, next door to the Civic Center, has public restrooms and is open on Mondays during the time of our walk.
